ein Gew\u00e4sser zu erkunden. Side Imaging ist eine fotorealistische Darstellung der Unterwasserwelt seitlich neben dem Angelboot. Distanzen von mehr als 70 Metern links und rechts neben dem Boot sind dabei in hochaufl\u00f6sender Qualit\u00e4t machbar. Damit scannt man also einen Korridor von 140 und mehr Metern in Echtzeit und dazu auch noch fotorealistisch ab. Es wird die gesamte Wassers\u00e4ule von der Wasseroberfl\u00e4che bis zum Grund und dieser selbst fotorealistisch abgebildet. Erfunden wurde die Side Imaging Technik von Humminbird. Auf der Str\u00f6mungsabgewandten Seite das bei vielen Buhnen zu findende Loch, welches durch die starken Verwirbelungen dort entsteht.
