Dezember 2015 war es dann offiziell so weit, die neu HOOK Serie von Echoloten wurde vorgestellt. In der offiziellen Pressemeldung ist ziemlich viel Allgemeines zu lesen. Zum Beispiel S\u00e4tze wie: \u201e Lowrance (\u2026) gab heute die Einf\u00fchrung der HOOK Echolote bekannt (\u2026) welche auf bew\u00e4hrte Navigations- und Echolottechnologie zur\u00fcckgreifen und dabei zu Alltagspreisen erh\u00e4ltlich sind, um Anglern einen unglaublichen Mehrwert zu geben.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Klingt ziemlich abgefahren, oder? Technisch ist dies so einiges, zum Beispiel das Sie in 4, 5, 6 und 9 Zoll Bildschirmdiagonale erh\u00e4ltlich sein werden. Und es ein HOOK 3x und ein HOOK 3x DSI (Down Scan Imaging) Modell geben wird. Und das die Modelle ab 4 Zoll mit CHIRP Sonar ausgestattet sind und sogar eine integrierte GPS Antenne beinhalten. Damit sind die Lowrance HOOK Echolote nat\u00fcrlich kompatibel mit Insight Genesis\u2122, der Lowrance eigenen Mappingsoftware die auf einem offen Community System basiert und in der kostenlosen Version voraussetzt, das man seine Gew\u00e4sserdaten mit allen anderen Communitymitgliedern teilt. Selbstvest\u00e4ndlich ist auch die Kompatibilit\u00e4t mit allen f\u00fchrenden Herstellern elektronischer Seekarten wie Navionics,\u00a0 Jeppesen C-MAP uvm. gew\u00e4hrleistet. Das HOOK Echolot hat ein paar neue Schriftz\u00fcge auf dem ansonsten \u00e4u\u00dferlich scheinbar baugleichen Rahmen. Erstaunlich: Sogar das Echolotbild ist bei beiden Modellen exakt gleich!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-kl7qiq5t-4-5e63bb899e488248f4aae1676fcfaa1a '  ><div class='avia_textblock' ><p>Wir haben nicht aufgegeben und weitere Anl\u00e4ufe unternommen mehr \u00fcber die HOOK Serie herauszufinden. Auf der METS \u2013 der weltweiten Leitmesse f\u00fcr Marineelektronik \u2013 wurden wir am Stand von Lowrance freundlich begr\u00fc\u00dft. Auf konkrete Nachfrage, ob wir mal eines der neuen HOOK Echolote sehen oder gar testen d\u00fcrften wurde leider sehr verhalten reagiert. Testen sei gar nicht m\u00f6glich und ansehen nur hinter verschlossener T\u00fcr f\u00fcr Distributoren erlaubt. Man verwies uns an die zust\u00e4ndigen Distributoren und die Lowrance Website. Gesagt getan und jedes noch so kleine technische Detail auf der Website auseinandergenommen und mit anderen Echoloten verglichen. Ok, wie bereits oben festgestellt man hat ein paar neue Schriftz\u00fcge am Rahmen angebracht und dem Kind einen neuen Namen gegeben. Und der NMEA Anschluss wurde weggelassen. Und das mit der Qualit\u00e4t die man von Lowrance als Angler erwartet, wenn man ein neues <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mybait.de\/fishfinder-gps-plotter\/echolote-gps\/\">Echolot kauft<\/a>.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Mit den HOOK Echoloten wird nach unseren Recherchen nicht wirklich ein neuer Standard gesetzt. Vielmehr handelt es sich um ein Facelift der bekannten Elite und Elite CHIRP Echolote. Facelift im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, denn au\u00dfer einigen optischen \u00c4u\u00dferlichkeiten ist nach unserem Informationsstand technisch nichts ver\u00e4ndert worden. Dies wurde uns auch von mehreren Lowrance Distributionen so best\u00e4tigt. Warum man dann die HOOK Echolote als Neuheit anpreist und gleichzeitig den etablierten Namen der Lowrance Elite Echolote verwirft wissen vermutlich nur die Marketingstrategen bei Navico. Uns als auch den Distributionen mit denen wir sprachen bleibt dies jedenfalls ein R\u00e4tsel.
