Genau wie diese ist es in der 7-, 9- und 12-Zoll-Varianten als HDS-7 Gen3, HDS-9 Gen3 und HDS-12 Gen3 erh\u00e4ltlich. Mehr noch: Das HDS Gen3 passt sogar in bestehende Halterungen f\u00fcr die alten HDS Gen2 Ger\u00e4te, nutzt das gleiche Stromkabel, Ethernetkabel und auch die gleichen Geber. Das macht es f\u00fcr Angler besonders einfach, auf die neuen Lowrance HDS Gen3 Ger\u00e4te umzusteigen.<\/p>\n<p>Neu ist beim HDS Gen3 eine erweiterte Men\u00fcf\u00fchrung mittels Touchpad. Diese erlaubt es die Echolote auch ausschlie\u00dflich mittels normalen Tasten zu bedienen. Ein gro\u00dfer Vorteil gegen\u00fcber den alten HDS Gen2 Echoloten, bei denen man gezwungen war mittels Touchscreen den Fischfinder zu bedienen. Gerade dann, wenn man im Winter Handschuhe tr\u00e4gt oder das Display nass ist, ist die Bedienung des neuen HDS Gen3 mittels Touchpad viel einfacher.<\/p>\n<p>Noch geschmeidiger l\u00e4uft die Bedienung der Gen3-Fischfinder, indem man Touchpad und Touchscreen parallel mit beiden H\u00e4nden nutzt. Dieses bietet eine h\u00f6here Empfindlichkeit, bessere Rauschunterdr\u00fcckung und eine bessere Zieldifferenzierung. Bedeutet: Mit CHIRP kann man beim HDS Gen3 sehr dicht beieinanderstehende Fische nun auch als einzelne Fische identifizieren.<\/p>\n<p>Ebenso heben sich dank CHIRP dicht am Grund stehende Fische besser vom Boden ab und k\u00f6nnen als Fische erkannt werden. Wunder sollte man aber auch hier nicht erwarten: Echte CHIRP-Technologie ist beim HDS Gen3 genauso wenig verbaut wie bei anderen Echolotherstellern, die damit werben. Denn ein echter CHIRP-Geber kostet alleine so viel, wie ein ganzes Echolot.<\/p>\n<p>Das was man hier als auch anderswo als CHIRP bezeichnet, ist eine verbesserte Software, die ohnehin schon vorhandene Signale der Echolotgeber besser und differenzierter rechnen kann.
