Top Echolote sind sogar Internet- und WLAN f\u00e4hig. Beste Performance und fehlerfreies Arbeiten sind mit einem Echolot nur mit der neusten Software m\u00f6glich. Am eindrucksvollsten kann man dies bei Neunwicklungen auf dem Echolot-Markt beobachten. Als alter Humminbird Fan habe ich mir 2014 nat\u00fcrlich gleich ein Onix gekauft. Klar ist ein Humminbird Onix auch so schon ein Quantensprung in der technischen Entwicklung von Echoloten. Die Leistungsdaten sind einfach unfassbar und derzeit absolut einzigartig in der Welt der Echolote. Also wurde das Humminbird Onix aufs Boot geschraubt und los ging es. WOW \u2013 geiles Ger\u00e4t. Side Imaging, Display, Cross Touch Bedienung usw. sind absolute Granaten und Meilenweit entfernt von der Qualit\u00e4t, die ich von allen anderen Echoloten bisher kannte (das ist \u00fcbrigens auch heute, Ende 2014 noch so und wird es vermutlich noch einige Jahre bleiben!). Ich hatte also \u00fcberhaupt nichts an meinem Echolot zu meckern und war mit dem Onix hochzufrieden. Dann gab es irgendwann kurz nach der Markteinf\u00fchrung das erste Softwareupdate f\u00fcr das Humminbird Onix. Das habe ich nat\u00fcrlich auf das Echolot installiert und siehe da: Was eh schon das Beste war, kann sogar noch besser werden! Weniger St\u00f6rsignale, klarere Echolotbilder, schnellere Reaktion des Touchscreens und schnellere Verarbeitung von Daten zum Beispiel bei Autochart oder bei Screenshots. Und das alles nur durch ein banales Update der Software? Es gab dann noch ein oder zwei weitere Updates im Laufe des Jahres f\u00fcr das Humminbird Onix bei denen ich jedoch keine gro\u00dfen Verbesserungen f\u00fcr das Echolot feststellen konnte. Offenbar hatte man hier nur das \u00fcbliche Bugfixing f\u00fcr das Echolot betrieben. Wie erw\u00e4hnt hatte mein Onix alle bisherigen Updates drauf und ich war mit dem Echolot hochzufrieden. Auf der METS hatte ich Gelegenheit, vorab das neue Performance-Update f\u00fcr das Onix Echolot zu testen und war baff&#8230;.wie war das nur m\u00f6glich? Mit dem neuen Update liefen die Echolote irre schnell, nein sie rannten! Die ganze Bedienung \u00fcber den Touchscreen war auf einmal so abartig schnell und fl\u00fcssig geworden das ich mich bei Humminbird Technikern mehrfach versichern musste, ob die Ger\u00e4te tats\u00e4chlich baugleich sind und ob das Update auf meinem Onix das gleiche bewirken wird. \u201e Sure it will!\u201c wurde mir wie selbstverst\u00e4ndlich geantwortet.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-klcbvvoi-b17ad2bbb71cf3d7080490936e989666 '  ><div class='avia_textblock' ><p>Leider ist das Update f\u00fcr das neue Humminbird Onix offiziell erst in einigen Wochen verf\u00fcgbar. Ich werde mich also bis dahin gedulden m\u00fcssen. Dennoch wurde mir auf der METS eindrucksvoll bewiesen, wie wichtig Softwareupdates bei einem Echolot sein k\u00f6nnen.
