Eine Rinne, ein dicker Felsbrocken oder andere typische Einst\u00e4nde f\u00fcr Zander, die nur knapp links oder rechts vom Boot liegen, werden durch den 200 kHz Strahl vom Echolot nicht registriert. Noch weniger eine neben dem Angelboot stehende Wolke von Futterfischen, unter der h\u00e4ufig aktive Zander lauern.<\/p>\n<p>Wir brauchen f\u00fcrs Vertikalangeln daher auch unbedingt eine niedrige Frequenz mit sehr breitem Abstrahlkegel. Auf einer H\u00e4lfte l\u00e4sst du dir das 200 kHz Signal anzeigen und kannst damit selbst sehr dicht am Grund stehende Fische identifizieren. Auf der anderen H\u00e4lfte des Echolotes l\u00e4sst du dir dann das 83 kHz Signal mit seinem breiten Abstrahlwinkel anzeigen. den Echolotangler. Zun\u00e4chst sucht man mit einem m\u00f6glichst breiten Kegel (also niedrige Frequenz am Echolot einstellen) eine gro\u00dfe Wasserfl\u00e4che ab. Wird ein pelagischer Zander oder Hecht gefunden, ist h\u00f6chste Konzentration erforderlich, denn es gilt nun dem Fisch seinen K\u00f6der im Freiwasser direkt vor dem Maul zu pr\u00e4sentieren. Das erfordert einiges!<\/p>\n<p>Neben einer perfekten Bootskontrolle, die Winddrift und Str\u00f6mung ausgleicht, muss auch das Echolot blind bedient werden k\u00f6nnen. Durch st\u00e4ndige Kontrolle des Echolotes wird das Boot so \u00fcber den Fisch man\u00f6vriert, dass man den K\u00f6der direkt vor dem Fisch ablassen kann. Stelle das Echolot so ein, dass du einmal das 83 kHz Signal (breiter Abstrahlkegel aber geringe Aufl\u00f6sung) und einmal das 200 kHz Signal (geringer Abstrahlkegel aber sehr gute Target Separation) angezeigt bekommst. Wenn du den Fisch jetzt nur auf dem 83 kHz Signal sehen kannst ist klar, dass er nicht genau im Zentrum unter dem Angelboot steht.<\/p>\n<p>Richte das Boot neu aus, bis der Fisch auch im 200 kHz Signal erscheint. Jetzt kannst du den K\u00f6der behutsam herunterlassen. Auch hier solltest du mit einem Dual-Beam-Sonar am Echolot arbeiten, das Display teilen und dir 200 und 83 kHz Signale separat anzeigen lassen. Warum? Ganz einfach: Wenn du zum Beispiel eine gute Fischsichel im 200 kHz Signal (schmaler Abstrahlwinkel!) auf dem Echolot siehst, dann kannst du sicher sein, dass die mittlere Rute die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Chance auf einen Biss hat. Du kannst darauf reagieren und zum Beispiel auf die Schnelle noch etwas Schnur ablassen, da der Fisch tiefer steht als gedacht.<\/p>\n<p>Umgekehrt dient der breite Abstrahlkegel des 83 kHz Signals dazu, eine m\u00f6glichst breite Wasserfl\u00e4che abzusuchen. Anstatt seine K\u00f6der einfach planlos \u00fcber den Gew\u00e4sserboden rappeln zu lassen, kann man mittels eines Echolotes viel gezielter vorgehen. Zander stehen gerne an Kanten, also zum Beispiel an Steinpackungen oder Fahrrinnen. Mit einem Echolot kannst du das Angelboot so genau man\u00f6vrieren, dass du direkt an einer Steinpackung entlang schleppen kannst ohne einen H\u00e4nger zu riskieren.<\/p>\n<p>Das Echolot kann dazu im Dual-Beam-Modus mit \u00fcberlagertem Bild aus 83\/200 kHz Signal genutzt werden. Das ist in der Regel v\u00f6llig ausreichend. Wer es detailliert und ganz genau mag, kann nat\u00fcrlich auch hier den Bildschirm vom Echolot teilen und sich einmal das 200 kHz und einmal das 83 kHz Signal auf dem Echolot anzeigen lassen. Dein Echolot kann in diesen Meerestiefen noch gut aufl\u00f6sen und eng zusammenstehende Fische als einzelne Fischsicheln darstellen. Gerade f\u00fcr den Norwegenangler kann dies hilfreich sein, wenn er zum Beispiel erkennen will, ob der Boden aus Ger\u00f6ll und scharfen Felsen oder aus flachem Sand bzw. Kies besteht. Und nat\u00fcrlich kann mit der hohen Frequenz eine fantastische Target Separation erreicht werden. Dein Echolot wird bei richtiger Einstellung einen Makrelenschwarm also nicht als diffuse Wolke darstellen, sondern dir werden einzelne Fische angezeigt (und die dicken Dorsch hoffentlich darunter).<\/p>\n<p>Nutze bei der Einstellung des Echolotes also bis zu einer Wassertiefe von 100 bis 150 Metern die Vorteile der hohen Frequenz. Der Dual-Beam-Modus, bei dem beide Frequenzen (200 und 83 kHz) auf dem Echolot \u00fcberlagert dargestellt werden, ist daf\u00fcr ausreichend. Dieser Modus ist eigentlich bei allen Echoloten der Grundmodus und man muss als Angler nichts Besonderes ber\u00fccksichtigen. Je niedriger die Frequenz, desto tiefer kann das Wasser durchdrungen werden, da die Schallwellen viel energiereicher sind. Auch ist der Abstrahlkegel breiter, man sucht also eine viel breitere Wasserschicht ab und wird Fischschw\u00e4rme schneller finden.<\/p>\n<p>Nachteilig bei dieser Echoloteinstellung ist eine deutlich schlechtere Aufl\u00f6sung gegen\u00fcber einer hohen Frequenz von zum Beispiel 200 kHz. Du wirst auf deinem Echolot also lediglich den Grund sehen k\u00f6nnen ohne unterscheiden zu k\u00f6nnen, ob es sich dabei um Ger\u00f6ll mit gro\u00dfen Steinen oder flachen Grund handelt. Lediglich die Bodenh\u00e4rte, die vom Echolot ebenfalls angezeigt wird, kann einen Hinweis darauf liefern. Einzelne Steine wirst du aber nicht mit dem 200 kHz Signal erkennen k\u00f6nnen.
