Die Geschichte von Humminbird Echoloten begann im Jahre 1971 in Eufaula, Alabama, USA, in einer Garage unter dem Namen\u00a0 Fulton Electonics. Nur eine Handvoll lokaler Investoren finanzierte diesen ersten Schritt eines zuk\u00fcnftigen Echolot-Riesen. 1975 entstand der erste wasserdichte Echolotgeber, genannt Super Sixty. Wer auf diesen seltsamen Namen kam, ist nicht bekannt. Was aber bei Humminbird und auch allen anderen Herstellern von Echoloten ins Ged\u00e4chtnis eingebrannt ist: Der Super Sixty von Humminbird\u00a0wurde schnell einer der am h\u00e4ufigsten verkauften Fischfinder \u00fcberhaupt.<\/p>\n<p>Bereits 1977 war Fulton die Nummer 1 im Bereich elektronischer Ger\u00e4te f\u00fcr die Angelei und f\u00fcr Boote. In den 90ern setzte die Marke Humminbird ihren Erfolg im Bereich der Innovationen f\u00fcr Angler und Echolote fort.
