Deutlich zu erkennen sind zwei Boote dicht beieinander auf dem Echolot. Unten links ist normales Dual Beam 2D Sonar, das keine Infos liefert, die eine Interpretation wert sind. Unten rechts ist die Humminbird Down Imaging Ansicht. Hier kommt ein Effekt sehr gut zum Tragen: Das Down Imaging Signal tastet den Gew\u00e4sserboden nur in einem engen Kegel ab. Daher ist das zweite auf dem Side Imaging Bild links liegende Boot in der Down Imaging Ansicht nicht mehr zu erkennen.<\/p>\n<p>Beh\u00f6rden nutzen diese Technik bei Echoloten bevorzugt um Objekte unter Wasser zu finden. Versunkene Boote, Autos oder auch mal ein \u00d6lfass selbst Bomben aus dem Krieg lassen sich dank Humminbird Down Imaging bzw. Side Imaging und modernen Echoloten hervorragend finden und identifizieren, ohne kostspielige Taucher einzusetzen.<\/p>\n<p>Angler insbesondere Bootsangler m\u00f6chten nat\u00fcrlich mit dem Echolot eines finden: Fische! Doch auch f\u00fcr Echolotangler kann das Auffinden von zum Beispiel Booten oder Schiffswracks mit dem Echolot zum Fisch f\u00fchren.
